Lunchtime on Tuesday 9th March a few of us were in a somewhat windy Neath to hand over a cheque for £600 to Neath foodbank volunteers. This is part of our community benefits package for our Neath Town Centre development with Hale.
The donation is towards a new initiative which Neath foodbank is trailing to add fresh produce to the food parcels of much appreciated dry and tinned supplies. The aim is to provide variety and a more balanced diet to people locally. Donations are not normally part of our community benefit offering but this initiative is so vital to health and wellbeing.
We have more projects in Neath linked to local schools and public gardens coming soon to add further to our aims of supporting the communities as part of our development program.
